The Directorate of Medical Education (DM), Assam, has released the program for the first round of online consultation for first year MBBS and BDS courses in government medical and dental colleges in Assam for 2025 session. Eligible candidates who have qualified for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025 and meet the state quota criteria, can participate in the consultation process through the official website, DME.ASSAM.GOV.IN.
Online registration for counseling will begin on July 24 and end on July 29, 2025 at 11:55 pm. After registration, the online option will be available from July 30 to August 2. The provisional seat allocation results will be declared on 6 August.

Assam NEET UG 2025 Counseling: Steps to register
step 1: Go to the official website – dme.assam.gov.in.
step 2: Click on the ‘UG Medical’ section.
step 3: Candidates should enter ‘new login registration’ available under the Activities Board.
step 4: Enter login details such as NEET UG roll number, password and safety pin.
Step 5: Fill the application form and submit the application form.
Step 6: Pay the registration fee.
Step 7: Download the copy and take a printout or screenshot for future reference.
Assam NEET UG Counseling 2025: Documents are required
Candidates are considered to carry both the original and photocopy of the above mentioned documents for the institute’s reporting or document verification round.

– NEET 2025 scorecard
– Class 10 Mark Sheet and Certificate
– Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
– Photo ID proof
-The six to eight passport-shaped photos
– Caste certificate (if applicable)
– Disability Certificate (If applied)

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday Hearing a petition again NEET UG 2025 for candidates who allegedly face power cuts during the examination in Madhya Pradesh.
