Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has released the notification for the position of 4500 Assistant Teachers in lower primary and upper primary schools across the state. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website of DEE Assam, dee.assam.gov.in and submit their applications. The registration window will open on February 15 and close on March 31, 2025.
Of the total 4500 vacancies, 2,900 are for Assistant Teacher posts in lower primary schools and 1,600 are for Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher and Hindi Teacher posts in upper primary schools.
Assam Teacher Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification: Candidates must have completed Assam TET or CTET to be eligible to apply for the recruitment drive. Those who have qualified for ATET or CTET for LP and UP can also apply.
Age Limit: Candidates age should be minimum 18 years. However, maximum age shall not exceed 40 years for Unreserved Category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC)/Minorities and Other Backward Classes (MOBC), 45 years for SC/ST There should be. P)/ST(H), and 50 years for Persons with Disabilities (PWBD) by 1 January 2025.
