Sudan Air Force News: Sudan’s Air Force attacked the Nala Airport and destroyed the UAE aircraft, killing 40 people. The aircraft had columbian fare soldiers. The battle between Sudan and RSF continues since April 2023.

A military source told the news agency AFP that the UAE aircraft was completely destroyed in the bombing as soon as he landed at the Nala Airport. Government TV claimed that the aircraft had blown away from an airport in the country and had dozens of foreign fighters and weapons and equipment for RSF. Most parts of RSF Darfur are occupied. Sudan’s army, headed by General Abdel Fatah al-Burhan, has long been accusing the UAE that it supplies a drone-like weapon to RSF through the Nyala Airport. The UAE has dismissed the allegations, although the reports of the United Nations, American officials and other international organizations indicate the contrary.
Colombia is also keeping an eye
Columbia President Gustavo Petro said on the social media platform X that his government is trying to find out how many Colombians were killed in the attack. He wrote, ‘We will see if their bodies can be brought back.’ Petro also talked about banning hire military activities and described it as ‘business of killing humans’. Colombian mercenar soldiers, mostly ex -servicemen or guerrilla fighters, have already fought for UAE in Yemen and Gulf countries. United Nations experts have confirmed the presence of Colombian fighters in Darfur since the end of 2024.
Nala Airport dispute
The Nala Airport, which is in the capital of South Darfur, came under the RSF possession last year. Sudan’s army claims that RSF uses this airport for foreign weapons and gold smuggling. In the satellite photographs of Humanitarian Research Lab of Yale University, Chinese -made long distance drones have been seen there. In June too, three witnesses had said that a cargo aircraft was targeted at the Nala Airport. This week, the pro-army coalition ‘Joint Forces’ claimed that more than 80 Colombian fare soldiers were fighting with RSF in Al-Faash in Darfur. Many of these were killed in drones and artillery attacks.
