Interested candidates can register for the counselling process for admission to engineering programmes in colleges and universities between July 1 and July 13.
Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (Apshe) has published the counselling schedule for Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET/EAPCET) 2024, under which admissions will be taken to BE and BTech programmes. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can appear for the counselling process through the official website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, which will be held in colleges and universities between July 1 and July 13, 2024.
The official notice of APSCHE reads, “Qualified and eligible candidates of APEAPCET-2024, who are seeking admission to BE/B. Tech courses, are informed that the web counselling process including payment of processing fee cum registration, online certificate verification and option entry will be held from 01-07-2024 to 13-07-2024.”
AP EAMCET 2024: Documents Required
Candidates are required to bring the following two sets of Xerox copies along with all original certificates:
–– Rank Card for AP EAPCET-2024.
–– Hall Ticket for AP EAPCET-2024.
–– Marks Memorandum (Intermediate or Equivalent).
–– Proof of Date of Birth (SSC or equivalent document).
–– Transfer Certificate (TC).
–– Education Certificate from Class VI to Intermediate.
–– Applicants of OC who wish to claim reservation under EWS category must have EWS Certificate effective for the year 2024-2025 from Meeseva/Grama Sachivalayam.
–– Candidates must have residence certificate of seven years prior to the qualifying examination, such as Inter, or its equivalent for private candidates.
–– Any BC, ST or SC, Integrated Community Certificate (not OBC Certificate) issued by the appropriate Government.
–– For those claiming tuition reimbursement, a white ration card (which should reflect the name of the candidate and the name of the parents) or income certificate of parents from all sources issued on or after January 1, 2021.
–– Any candidate who migrates from the State of Telangana to any part of Andhra Pradesh between 2nd June 2014 and 1st June 2024 shall be treated as a local candidate in the State of Andhra Pradesh provided he/she possesses an appropriate Local Status Certificate.
–– Andhra Pradesh Residence Certificate, or Proof of Residence for parents, valid for ten years, excluding the time spent working outside the State of Andhra Pradesh, from the Tehsildar for non-local candidates.
This year, on June 11, APSCHE released the AP EAPCET 2024 results. The AP EAMCET exam dates were May 16 to 23. The engineering stream exam was held on May 18 to 23, while the agriculture and pharmacy stream exam was held on May 16 to 17.
AP EAMCET 2024: Important Dates
–– Payment of processing fee and online registration: July 1 to July 7.
–– Online verification of uploaded certificates: From 4th July to 10th July.
–– Exercise of web-option by registered candidates: From 8th July to 12th July.
–– Date for change of options by candidates: July 13.
–– Seat Allotment: July 16.
–– Reporting at college and self-reporting: From July 17 to July 22.
–– Classes start: July 19.
