However, smartphones are surrounded by a big threat like hacking. It can be hacked and used against you. Keeping this in mind, NSA, one of the world’s largest security agencies, has given some advice to the people.
NSA i.e. National Security Agency is a US government agency. It has given some suggestions to Android and iPhone users around the world. Using its advice, even though your smartphone cannot be made completely secure, it can definitely be made more secure than before. Let’s see what these advices are.

turn off the switch
The NSA has suggested to smartphone users that they should turn off their phones. By rebooting it again, potential threats can be removed. The NSA feels that doing something is better than doing nothing. According to the NSA, this can prevent people from spying on your phone through the mic or camera.
Keep Bluetooth off
The NSA also advises people to keep Bluetooth off unless they are using it in any way. According to the advice, if you keep GPS/location on, then you become vulnerable to potential attacks on your phone from a distance. Apart from this, the security agency has also asked to avoid using public Wi-Fi networks and public charging stations. However, remember that if a phone becomes a victim of a cyber attack, then all these steps cannot help you much. You may have to take very complicated steps to get a clean phone again.
