Pyongyang: North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is preparing to challenge the world again. New satellite pictures have revealed that North Korea is creating its biggest warship ever. This ship is so huge that it can be twice as bigger than the rest of the ships in Kim’s Navy. Photographs have been taken on 6 April by Maxar Technology and Planet Labs.

In these pictures, an under construction ship is visible on the Nampo Shipyard. It is about 60 km south from the capital Pyongyang. According to the CNN report, experts say that it is a 140-meter-long guided-mesile frigate (FFG), which will be equipped with missiles targeting land and sea.

The US Arile Burke-Class Destroyer is 505 feet and the Constitution-Class Frigate is 496 feet long. This ship of North Korea may be smaller than him, but it will be a great success for Kim’s Navy. However, the existence of the ship is not new. The Kim rule is engaged in rapid modernization of its armed forces. Last year, it was shown on North Korea’s government TV that Kim Jong is taking stock of a ship. But experts believe that this ship is still incomplete. It will take at least one more year to install radar, weapons and sensors.

High-tech weapons will be on the ship

• Missile Launcher: Pictures showed that the ship will have vertical launch tubes, which can features a variety of missiles.
• Phaseed-Are Radar: Analysts believe that it will have a phase-aer radar which can track enemies faster. This is much better than the old technology of North Korea.
• Danger of hypersonic missile: South Korean retired admiral Kim Duck-key says that if the ship has a hypersonic missile tested in January, it would be a threat to the security of the area. This game for North Korea will not be less than a changer. The threat to South Korea, Japan and America will increase.
• Kim Jong Un is constantly engaged in modernization of his army. North Korea’s Supreme Leaders are testing new weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles that can attack the US.

Russia helped?
There are strict United Nations restrictions on North Korea, which prevent arms making materials and technology access to it. Nevertheless, Kim’s army is rapidly making new weapons. Experts believe that Russia-North Korea’s growing friendship may be behind it. Kim Duck-key says Russia is probably giving the technique of the missile system of this ship. The relations between the two countries have been strengthened since the Ukraine War. Russian President Putin arrived on a visit to North Korea. North Korea has launched its soldiers in Russia war.

North Korea’s Old Navy
There was a US report in the year 2021, stating that North Korea’s Navy has 400 small warships and 70 submarines. But most are old and small. Its two main warships, Nazin-Class Frigate, belong to the 1970s and are now useless.
