The woman’s name is Tanvi, who wrote on X that she had ordered an Xbox controller from Amazon, but she was also given a snake for free along with the product. According to media reports, Tanvi and her husband have alleged that when they called Amazon customer care, they were put on hold for 2 hours. They were left to deal with the situation on their own.

Although it was found that Tanvi has received a refund for this product, questions are being raised about Amazon’s accountability on X. However, questions are being raised on many other companies and services. Recently, Zomato allegedly served a human finger in an ice cream. After that, Air India served a blade-like thing in the meal during the flight. This time Amazon has done something which is currently a topic of discussion. In response to Tanvi’s post on X, Amazon said, “We apologize for the trouble you faced with your Amazon order. We will have to investigate it. Please provide full details, and our team will contact you as soon as possible.”
People made sarcastic remarks on X in a sarcastic tone
Tanvi’s post about free snakes started going viral in no time. Many users made satires and touched upon serious issues and made people aware of the seriousness of the matter. One user earlier lashed out at Amazon by comparing his post with the ‘scandal’ committed by Zomato and Air India.
Another user wrote- It seems Amazon has taken its name a little too seriously. Instead of a controller, you are given a complete wildlife adventure.
