Mahadev Mali’s way of selling tea is quite different. Actually, he takes orders for tea over the phone and whether it is summer, rain or storm, he definitely delivers his order.
50 to 60 liters of milk is used to make tea every day
The total population of Ter village in Dharashiv taluka is around 15000. Mahadev needs 50 to 60 liters of milk every day to make tea here. His wife and two sons also help him in this business. He goes to Ter and nearby villages 2 to 3 kilometers away to deliver tea. The price of a cup of tea is only 5 rupees.
1.5 to 2 thousand cups of tea are sold every day
Mahadev Mali takes orders over the phone. He delivers tea from wherever he gets an order. Mahadev Mali earns a good income by selling 1.5 to 2 thousand cups of tea every day. If 1.5 thousand cups of tea are sold, the income is about 7 thousand rupees per day and if 2 thousand cups of tea are sold, the income is about 10 thousand rupees per day. His household is running well.
