According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is enhancing its channel feature by introducing several user-friendly updates. In the update, the process of creating and searching channels will be made easier for the users.

Apart from this, WhatsApp is planning to add a verified badge directly to the channel list. Please note that this feature is not in the current version of the app. The redesigned channels section is now placed at the bottom of the list. Apart from this, WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow users to perform bulk actions on multiple channels simultaneously, like muting, mark read or pin them.
