About 3 kilometers are treated near Neeti village on Joshimath-Malari highway in Chamoli district and reach this cave. Here Baba Bholenath’s darshan is in the form of Shivling and in the holy month of Sawan, worship is considered to be special significance here.
After the rain during the monsoon season, the beauty of the policy valley increases even more. While the waterfalls and drains here turn into snow in winter, their flow in the rain increases, due to which coming here can be a little risky. Local people know this cave as ‘Babuch Udiyar’. After the Indo-China war of 1962, the movement of common people was banned due to security reasons in this border area. However, the administration allowed devotees to visit the devotees under the single window system, after which thousands of devotees arrive here every year to see Baba Barfani.
To reach here, you can first go by train or bus from Delhi to Haridwar or Rishikesh. After this you can reach Joshimath with the help of taxi or local transport. The distance from Joshimath to Neeti Valley is about 80 kilometers. To reach the Timsain cave near Neeti village, one has to track about 3 kilometers. The special thing is that the pure water dripping from the hill inside the cave is constantly constant anointing of Shivling, which makes this place even more sacred and amazing.
