Many students are demanding the arrest of Shajaruddin, who have been suspended from the Vargy Degree College for two months, pending an internal investigation.

On Sunday, a faculty member has been booked at an Aligarh College to send pornographic messages to a female student, police reported PTI on Sunday. Officials said the victim had lodged a complaint with the police.
The issue had been demanding the arrest of Shajaruddin, led by BJP Yuva Morcha and members of Akhil Bhartia Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), with students for the last two days, which has been suspended from Varni Degree College for two months.
Students protesting in the college campus accused the police of “official negligence and delay” in addressing the complaint.
BJP young Morcha leader Amit Goswami warned that if the faculty member was not arrested within 24 hours, his organization would start a movement.
The report stated that in response to the protest, the college administration announced the suspension of Shajaruddin for two months, an internal investigation pending, said in the report.
Police confirmed that a case has been registered at Gandhi Park Police Station.
Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Ms. Pathak said that the mobile phone of the accused has been confiscated. “Further action will be taken after examining the evidence including mobile phone records,” he said.
