Alia Bhatt’s recent revelation of not going to the washroom for 6 hours in her Met Gala outfit reminded netizens of Ananya Panday’s ‘struggle’ comment
Remember when Ananya Panday became meme material after she spoke about her struggles as a star kid? Several years ago, during an interview, she had revealed how her actor father Chunky Panday has never been in a Dharma film or even a TV show. The Great Indian Kapil Showto promote his upcoming movie JigraIn a clip of the leftover content shared after the episode, permanent guest Archana Puran Singh asked Alia how she went to the washroom in her Met Gala 2024 outfit—a stunning couture saree with an exaggerated train, curated by celebrity designer Sabyasachi. Alia replied, “I didn’t go to the washroom for about 6 hours.” Well, this statement of Alia has now become fodder for trolls and their jokes.
Under a post shared by a paparazzi about Alia’s statement, a sarcastic social media user jokingly wrote, “Not going to the washroom for 6 hours is now her struggle… 😂😂 OMG how difficult her life must be 🤣”, while another comment read: “Struggle hai bhai struggle👏🙌.” Recalling Ananya’s ‘struggles’, another fan wrote, “Le Ananya Panday: sis teri zindagi me toh mujhe bhi zyada struggle hai.” Some other nasty netizens suggested diapers. One such unexpected comment read: “Please wear adult diapers 😂😂”, while another internet user said, “Relax guys gotta wear diapers 😂😂.”
Well, this couture saree was gorgeous while the train was stunning. It was a real head turner at the Met Gala. So maybe the ‘struggle’ was worth it.
