Airport News: 900 grams of dictatorship became a major headache for the police at IGI Airport in Delhi. After questioning many people, now an airport personnel have been arrested in this case.

Airport news: A major theft has been exposed at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi. A youth named Rajan Madan (25) has been arrested for stealing mobile phones from the custom bonded warehouse of the airport. The accused was working as an assistant in the UPS Express Private Limited Company for the last three years. Along with his arrest, two stolen mobile phones have also been recovered.
According to DCP Usha Ranganani, Vipan Sharma, Assistant Manager of UPS Express Private Limited on 6 March 2025, lodged a complaint that an iPhone 15 Pro Max has been stolen from the custom bonded warehouse. The phone was last seen on 20 November 2024. After this, when the inventory was checked in the warehouse, this phone was found missing. Apart from this, another phone, OnePlus 12R was also found to be stolen.
Sudden hand got important clues
During the investigation, all the CCTV footage of the airport was investigated, but no concrete clues were found. After this, all the employees of the warehouse were questioned, but no information was received. Meanwhile, through technical assistance, it was found that both stolen phones were active. The iPhone 15 Pro Max was used by a woman named Savalin Kaur Kohli that she bought this phone from the shopkeeper. At the same time, OnePlus 12R was detected by a person named Ashfaq, who bought it from another shopkeeper.
Important information from shopkeepers
During interrogation of shopkeepers Gurpreet Singh and Hitesh Gaba, they revealed that both of them had bought these mobile phones from a man named Rajan Madan. Gurpreet paid Rs 75,000 for the iPhone, while Hitesh bought the phone for Rs 20,000. Rajan Madan was arrested on the spotlight of both the shopkeepers. At the same time, during interrogation, he confessed his crime. He told that he got greed to see the shipment of mobile phone and stole two mobile phones from the warehouse. He sold these phones to the shopkeepers and this amount was paid through UPI.
Accused has been working in airport for 3 years
According to the police, the accused Rajan Madan is a resident of Meenakshi Garden coming to Tilak Nagar area of Delhi. He is a B.Com graduate. He was working as an assistant in the custom bonded warehouse of UPS Express Private Limited for the last three years. The police is now trying to find out if he has already given an idea of such an incident.
