Bar Council of India (BCI) on 26 September announced the official notification for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE 20). According to the notification, the registration for Aibe XX (20) will start from September 29. The last date to apply is October 28, 2025, and online payment deadline is 29 October 2025.
Candidates have to improve their registration form by 31 October 2025. BCI will issue the admit card for the law exam starting on November 30, 2025 for 30 November, 2025, starting from November 15, 2025.

AIBE 20 notification: Steps to investigate

The All India Bar Examination is a compulsory qualification test for the law graduates wishing to practice law in India. To be eligible, candidates will have to complete a three -year or five -year LLB course from a university or college recognized by Bar Council of India (BCI).
There are 20 patterns exams
The AIBE exam will be conducted offline in a pen and paper format. It will include 100 multiple choice questions (MCQ), in which each question will take a mark. Candidates will have three hours to complete the exam.
According to the marking plan, the candidates will earn a marks for each correct answer, in which there will be no negative marking. To pass the exam, general category candidates need to score at least 45%, while Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Disabled Person (PWD) candidates will have to secure minimum 40% marks.
