How dangerous is mobile kept in pocket?

According to a report by Healthsite.com, a study revealed that mobile phones are responsible for all kinds of modern diseases, from chronic stress to brain tumors. Medical researchers from Austria and Egypt published their study in the Central European Journal of Urology. It was told that continuous contact with mobile can be the cause of ‘erectile dysfunction’ i.e. sex problem.

Researchers made this claim by studying two groups of men over the course of 6 years. In this, 20 men of the first group were suffering from sexual problems, while 10 men of the second group said that they did not have any sexual problems.

What harm can happen?

Many medical experts say that radiation from mobile phones causes health problems. Because, when you keep a phone connected to a wireless network in your pocket, the body has to bear 2 to 7 times the radiation. This radiation can change your DNA structure and there is a risk of impotence. Radiation is also considered a cause of cancer. Apart from this, problems related to heart disease can also occur, hence keeping a mobile phone even in a shirt pocket can be fatal. A study published in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology found that using a mobile phone for at least one call per week may increase the risk of heart disease.

Then where to keep the smartphone?

One cannot stay away from mobile phone but its excessive use can be avoided. Apart from this, you should not keep your phone in any pocket which is close to your delicate organs. It would be better if you keep the phone in a purse or bag. If this is not possible then keep the mobile phone in the back pocket of the pants. Make sure that the back part of the mobile remains upwards so that your body gets exposed to minimum radiation.
