Moscow. The body of a man has been found just a few kilometers away from where Russian President Vladimir Putin lives, which has the Kremlin in a tizzy. It is being told that Mikhail Shatsky, deputy general-designer of Mars Design Bureau and chief of the software department, has been murdered. This company develops Russian missiles, which are used in the war with Ukraine. This information has been given by Kyiv Independent. Shatsky was shot by an unknown assailant in the Kuzminsky Forest Park, Kotelniki, in the Moscow region, eight miles southeast of the Kremlin. This information was given by Astra Telegram channel and other Russian and Ukrainian sources.
Shatsky worked for a company that designs and produces onboard guidance systems for the Russian space and military industry. This company is part of the department of State Corporation Rosatom since December 2017. Shatsky was also an associate professor and was actively working on upgrading the Russian Kh-59 cruise missile to the Kh-69 level, which Russian troops use to attack Ukraine.
According to the Kyiv Independent, Shatsky was considered the main proponent of incorporating AI technology into Russian drones, aircraft and spacecraft. Shatsky’s death was first reported by Ukrainian-Russian anti-Kremlin journalist Alexander Nevzorov, who wrote on his Telegram channel that the HUR (Military Intelligence of the Ukrainian Government) “eliminated an especially dangerous criminal.”
Nevzorov shared photos on social media of a man resembling Shatsky lying dead in the snow. It is being told that this person was killed in Kuzminsky Forest Park near Kotelniki in Moscow Oblast. However, Kyiv Independent is not confirming all these claims. A source said, “Anyone who is involved in any way in the development of the Russian military-industrial complex and in support of Russian aggression in Ukraine is on target of the Defense Forces.”
