Closing AC directly with switch can damage your compressor, motor and electrical parts. Know the right way, so that you will be able to avoid expensive repair.
The heat is not over yet. Even though the rainy season is going on, but during the monsoon, the amount of moisture in the air increases greatly. Because of this, there is a lot of humidity and the fan, cooler does not work properly. In these days, Air Conditioner (AC) works a lot. The air of AC remains dry, due to which there is a feeling of coolness. But whatever the weather is, if the AC is not taken care of properly, then it can deteriorate quickly.
Many times we make some mistakes while using AC, which we find modest but in reality there are some things that can also spoil the compressor. One of the mistakes is not to turn off the AC from the switch directly. By the way, it does not seem to be a big thing, but if you know its disadvantages, then you will never do this further.
Often people turn off AC directly from electrical switch instead of remote in quick or rest. This method may seem easy but it can cause major disadvantages. The compressors, motor and electrical parts inside AC are suddenly affected by the power cut and this reduces their life.
Compressor may suffer loss- AC compressor is the most important part. It plays the lead role in cooling the room. When you turn off AC directly from the switch, the sudden power cut off the compressor. Doing this repeatedly can make the compressor weakened or may also be bad. Changing the compressor is an expensive task, and it may have to face problems in the whole summer due to its damage.
Cooling will be less- If you want your AC to give cold air for a long time, then it is necessary to maintain its cooling capacity. But with the habit of closing AC from the switch, the cooling system can deteriorate quickly, which will reduce the cold air of AC.
Effect on motor and fan- AC’s motor and fan can also be affected due to shutting down directly with switch. This not only reduces their age, but can also make it bad if used for a long time.
Loss of electrical parts- sockets and switches made for AC are different from common electrical switches. Repeatedly turning on them can spoil their electrical parts. If these parts are spoiled, then there may be huge expenditure on repair.
What is the right way? Always close AC with remote. On closing the remote, the AC system is gradually power off and all parts are safe. This habit will help in increasing the life of your AC and you will not have to worry in summer.
