Parliament monsoon session: After disintegration in the first week of the monsoon session, Parliament is ready for a fierce debate on the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor from today. Members of the ruling coalition and opposition are expected to hit two issues immersed in national security and foreign policy mandatory.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) -Bold Ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and opposition parties will be brought to the fray during the discussion in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar will speak on issues representing the government. There are indications that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also intervene to express his government’s “strong” stand against terrorism. However, there is no official confirmation on this.
Leaders of the opposition in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikrajun Kharge can lead the allegations against society, as well as hosting Akhilesh Yadav and other members of the society. The Congress party has issued a whip to its Lok Sabha MPs, making their presence in the House mandatory for three days. Quoting sources, news agency PTI said that the party’s deputy leader Gaurav Gogoi in the House has expected to start the opposition party’s charge on the first day of the debate today.
A virtual washout ended due to opposition protests on the special intensive amendment (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Bihar and other issues after the first week of the session, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said on 25 July that the opposition has agreed to start a discussion on the Pahlagam attack and Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
Both sides have agreed to debate the marathon 16-hour in each house, which has always spread for a long time in practice.
According to the Lok Sabha listed agenda, “there will be a special discussion on India’s strong, successful and decisive operation vermilion in response to a terrorist attack in Pahgam”.
In addition to the batteries of ministers and leaders like Anurag Thakur, Sudhanshu Trivedi, and Nishikant Dubey, the ruling NDA is expected to field members from seven multi-sided delegations, who visit more than 30 world capitals to present India’s case after Operation Sindhor.
They are Srikanth Shinde of Shiv Sena, Sanjay Jha of JD (U), and Harish Balayogi of TDP.
Will Shashi Tharoor speak on Operation Tharoor?
A big question is whether Shashi Tharoor, who led the delegation in the US among other countries, will be elected by the Congress as a speaker. After the terrorist attack, the enthusiastic support of an experienced Lok Sabha member of the government’s action has sourced his relationship with his party.
Opposition parties have criticized the government around the alleged intelligence behind the Pahgam terror attack on 22 April, killing 26 citizens, and claims of US President Donald Trump to interfere with a ceasefire between India and Pakistan following a four -day military action on May 10.
Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly attacked the foreign policy of the government, claiming that India has not received international support on Operation Sindoor and has cited Trump’s frequent media claims to target the ruling alliance.
The government has rejected Trump’s claims.
Modi, on his behalf, has appreciated Operation Sindoor, who targeted terrorist sites after terrorist terrorist attacks in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir and Pakistan, to fulfill 100 percent of his objectives and prove the subtle of India’s indigenous defense weapons and platforms.
The BJP and its allies have attracted the “new general” Modi to fight terrorism with their muscle reaction, including deep striking on terrorist sanctuaries inside Pakistan and involving the Indus Waters Agreement.
The two countries were engaged in a four -day struggle as India retaliated in Pakistan after hitting India’s terrorists with accurate attacks. India claimed that many airports in the neighboring country have suffered serious damage, and both sides agreed to stop military action after reaching Pakistan.
Special intensive amendment
There is a bone of dispute between the government and the opposition to discuss the ongoing special intensive amendment (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Bihar by the Election Commission.
A joint opposition mainly stopped the Parliament on the issue in the first week, as the purpose of the practice is to help the BJP-led coalition in the pole-bound state, focusing on ensuring that only the eligible people cast their votes.
The government has appreciated Operation Sindoor for fulfilling 100 percent of its objectives.
Rijiju has said that each issue cannot be taken to discuss in Parliament at once, and the government later called the demand for debate on the head according to the rules.
