In a recent interview with Karan Johar for the Mojo Story, Smriti considered what her climb did, stating what she described as her “Agneepath moment”.
Asked which song represents his life best, Smriti said that it will be a journey from Kuch Kuch Hota to Agneepath. Talking about the shift, he said, “I am probably taking revenge on every child who never had the opportunity to compete equally. The original version Agneepath was about a son, who was trying to fulfill his mother’s will.”
She went to share a deep personal memory involving her mother: “Everything was about Gor and Mahima that the son thought that her mother had faced injustice, and I always think that my mother was made for my own mother. My mother was designed to leave the house when I was 7 years old because I was not a son. So to take back my mother, to take back my mother and give a roof to me,”
About Smriti Irani
Smriti first arose for national fame for the portrayal of Tulsi Virani at Kabi Bahu Thi, which gave her a domestic name. He later acted as Sita in Zee TV’s Ramayana with Nitish Bhardwaj. Her infection in politics began when she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), rapidly arose through ranks. In 2019, he made headlines by defeating Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Amethi – a historic victory in a traditional Congress stronghold. As a Union Minister, he has included several major departments including Human Resource Development (2014-2016), textiles and women and child development.

Ektaa Kapoor is also ready to revive the iconic show Kyanki Saas Saas Kabi Bahu Thi, who mark Smriti Irani’s much awaited return to television. Originally aired on Star Plus from 2000 to 2008, the show went on for more than 1,800 episodes and became a cultural touchstone. Balaji will bring back members of the original artists, including the sequel, Smriti and Amar Upadhyay produced by Telefilms. The reboot has already created a lot of discussion, promising indifference and a fresh story mixture. The official premiere date is yet to be announced.
