Dr. The head of Sibasish Day, MBBS, MD and Medical Affairs, shared India and South Asia with HT lifestyle how these everyday habits, especially in the context of lack of India’s growing sleep, are quietly wreaking havoc.

1. Blue light disintegration: screen deleted sleep signs

Late night scrolling is a major sleeping antagonist, especially when the lights of the summer day already delay the signs of natural sleep.

Meltdown of Melaton: Blue lights from equipment can affect melatonin levels in your body, which is the body’s natural sleep-induction hormone.

High vigilance: Instead of being curved below, blue light alerts your brain, causing sleep elusive and affects its quality. It can be an important contributor to the broad sleep struggles seen in India.

2. Buwed pride-gradient blackhole: ‘Another episode’ steals significant comfort

Summer free time can be expanded chain marathon, eating directly in your sleep.

Cognitive overload: Engaging shows can overstrate your brain, which can prevent the mental calmness required for sleep.

Lost hours, increasing fatigue: Losing the track of time is easy to push later at bedtime. The study stated that 47 percent of employed Indians reported to take sick leave due to poor sleep, which reflects the influence of the real world of this lost rest.

3. Cold beer, upset sleep: misleading comfort

A cold alcoholic beverage may feel relaxed, but it can seriously reduce your sleep quality.

Fragrant, disturbance sleep: Alcohol can interrupt significant REM sleep, which can cause more awakening and feeling uncontrolled, even if you fall asleep quickly.

Hormonal intervention and dehydration: The wine can play with melatonin and can dehydrate you (especially in summer), causing discomfort and further sleep obstruction.

4. Partner interruption: unspecified sleep thief

Studies show that 41 percent of Indians in relationships face disruption of night sleep from their associates, the most among surveyed countries. Snoring is a major reason.

Shared bed, separate sleep: Sleep disturbances caused by a partner often give rise to serious rest issues, some motivate some to adopt different sleeping arrangements as a way to reconstruct quality comfort.

How to recover your sleep

Dr. Sibasish shared the following tips to help improve your sleep quality:

● Digital sunset: Screen below bed 1-2 hours before bed.

● Watch wisely: Limit the episode and see first. Relaxed, prefer screen-free pre-so-so-very routine.

● Medium wine: Drink moderately and not very close to sleep. Hydrate with water.

● Address Partner Interruption: If the issue related to snoring or other partner is a problem, discuss solutions or consult experts.

● Calm, dark and calm: Adapt your bedroom for sleep.

● Constant routine: Maintain a regular sleep-jag cycle.

By dealing with these habits, you can compete with ‘Summer of Insomnia’ and solve India’s widespread sleep challenges, which can lead to more energetic days. If sleep problems persist, the study reminds us of the importance of seeking support from experts instead of struggling in silence.
