Muzamil Ibrahim shared that he was not even invited to attend the award ceremony, where he was nominated for his work in Dhok.
Muzamil Ibrahim made her acting debut in 2007, the same year when Ranbir Kapoor started with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Sawariya. Ranbir went to win all the best debut awards that year, saying Muzamil says it was completely undesirable. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Muzamil shared how the award shows are all scripted and felt really bad when he won nothing even after giving a great performance. What did Muzammil say
During the conversation, Muzammil said, “I think Ranbir made his debut with the passenger that year, and Neil Nitin Mukesh Johnny came with Johnny Gaddar. Nana Patekar said that I was entitled to all the awards, but to win Ranbir I think I think I am the best rustic, I think I feel that I am ready for an award. If you do it in deception, I was better.

Muzamil admitted that he was not even invited to the award show, where he was nominated along with Neil Nitin Mukesh and Ranbir Kapoor. He said, “I felt that the award shows should have been like a ballot, as we see in the Oscar. But here everyone knows who is winning! Only Ranbir is sitting there, so he will win. It is pre-deaf. I felt very bad that when Shahrukh Khan sir did not like me on the stage, we couldn’t even do it, I felt very bad.
