Two sisters of a peasant family in Tamil Nadu crossed the difficulties to become IAS and IPS officers through firmness and dedication.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam is widely considered the most difficult exam in the country. It demands the highest level of dedication, determination and hard work from those wishing to serve the nation as IAS, IPS, or IFS officers. Only bright and most determined individuals are successful in cleaning this exam, and one such inspirational success story is of two sisters, Sushmita Ramanathan and Ishvari Ramanathan, daughters of a farmer in Kudalore district in Tamil Nadu, who all obstacles Left, which surpassed all obstacles. Born in a small family with an agricultural background, Sushmita and Ishvarya faced financial difficulties and struggled with limited resources for their studies during childhood. One of the most heartbreaking moments of his life was losing his house during the 2004 tsunami. Despite these difficulties, the sisters refused to give up by passing the UPSC Civil Services Examination, securing their positions as IAS and IPS officers.
Among them, younger sister, Ishverya, were the first to achieve success. He approved the Civil Services Examination in 2018, obtained the All India Rank (Air) of 628, and was selected for the Railway Accounts Service (RAS). However, she was not satisfied with her rank and decided to try again. In 2019, she re -appeared for UPSC CSE and secured 44th rank. At the age of 22, she became the IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. She is currently serving as Additional Collector (Development) in the Roathukudi district of Tamil Nadu.

On the other hand, Sushmita faced many failures, failing to clean the exam in her first five attempts. However, her perseverance and dedication finally paid when she succeeded in her sixth attempt in 2022, achieved 528 air and became an IPS officer in Andhra Pradesh cadre. She is currently serving as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Kakinada district of southern state.
His journey serves as a remarkable example of how perseverance, hard work and flexibility can lead to success, whether it faces a challenge in life.
