The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) started its 100th mission in the early hours of Wednesday. The launch vehicle GSLV-F15 removed the nominated class with NVS-02 navigation satellite at 6:23 am on Wednesday. The launch took place with the second launch pad (SLP) at Shaish Satish Dhawan Space Center in Andhra Pradesh.

What are GSLV-F15 and NVS-02 navigation satellites
The launch vehicle, GSLV-F15, required that the NVS-02 satellite is ranked in a geosyinkronous transfer orbit.
The second satellite in the NVS-02, NVS series is configured with navigation payloads in L1, L5 and S bands, in addition to its predecessor-NVS-01-like payload in C-Band.
