Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the Combined Geo-Scientist Final Examination Result 2024. Candidates who appeared for the interview can check their result on upsc.gov.in. The prelims exam was held on 18 February, followed by the main exam on 22 and 23 June. The personality test took place in December. The marks of the candidates will be made available on the website within 15 days from the date of result publication.
The result of 14 candidates is provisional. “Candidates whose result has been kept provisional will not be issued offers of appointment until the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates,” the official notice said.

Step 4: PDF containing roll numbers of qualified candidates will appear on the screen
Step 5: Candidates can take a print out of the hard copy of the PDF file for future reference.
“Appointments to the above posts will be made by the Government as per the number of vacancies available and subject to the candidates satisfying all prescribed eligibility conditions and satisfactorily completing all pre-appointment formalities/verifications, wherever necessary. The official notice states that the allocation of candidates to services/posts will be done as per their merit status and preference of the services/posts chosen by them.

UPSC has published schedule For Combined Geo-Scientist Preliminary Examination 2025. This examination will be conducted in two sessions on February 9, 2025. The Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2025 recruitment drive aims to fill 85 posts in the organization. Candidates who are successful in Prelims will have to appear in the main examination which will be held on June 21 and 22, 2025.
