When was AP TET exam conducted?
AP TET exam, to be conducted in two sessions, was held on October 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19. This year 20 and 21. The first session of the exam started at 9:30 am and ended at 12:00 pm. The second session of the exam started at 2:30 pm and ended at 5:00 pm.
What is the passing criteria of AP TET 2024?
The criteria to be considered for qualifying APTET-JULY-2024 are as follows:
OC- 60 percent marks and above
BC: 50 percent marks and above
SC/ST/Divyang (PH) and Ex-Servicemen: 40 percent marks and above
Weightage to APTET score for selection of teacher recruitment in AP
As per the official notification, a 20% Weightage to TET score will be provided in the teacher recruitment of the state government, the remaining 80% weightage will be given to the written examination in the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) on the basis of which the selection list will be prepared. However, merely qualifying in TET will not entitle any person to recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for teacher appointment.

The official information bulletin states, “Marks Memo/Certificate of APTET-2024 will be made available only on the APTET website. There is no restriction on the number of attempts and a person can appear any number of times to obtain the APTET certificate. A person who has qualified APTET can also appear again to improve his/her score. The APTET certificate will be valid for life as per NCTE guidelines dated: 09.06.2021, as amended by the Government vide GOM No. 69, dated: 25.10.2021. The validity of TET qualifying certificate obtained before 09.06.2021 will be valid for life as per GOM.No.69, Dated: 25.10.2021.
