NEET PG 2024 Exam City Allotment: Candidates will receive the information on their registered email ID. This will not be released on the exam website natboard.edu.in.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release the exam city allotment slip for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET PG 2024) today i.e. on July 29. Candidates will get this information on their registered email ID. This information will not be released on the exam website natboard.edu.in.
As per the official notice, the exam centre will be available on the admit card, which will be released on August 8. “The exam centre venue in the allotted exam city will be informed through the admit card, which will be released on the NBEMS website on August 8, 2024,” the official notice said.
NEET PG 2024 was originally scheduled for June 23, however, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) rescheduled it as a precautionary measure. It will now be held on August 11.
NBEMS had shared a list of 185 cities where the exam would be conducted and asked candidates to choose four preferred exam cities. The board said that candidates who are not able to indicate any preference regarding exam cities during this online window will be allotted an exam centre by NBEMS anywhere in the country as per availability.
Wherever the number of test cities available in the state/UT of correspondence address is less than four or the demand for test seats exceeds the available capacity in the state of correspondence address, candidates will be given the option to choose from test cities in nearby states/UTs. NBEMS had earlier said that the allocation of test city to a candidate will be done randomly from the given options and these four options will not be considered as the order of preference of test cities.
The notice said, “The candidate will be allotted an examination centre at one of the nearest available locations within the state of correspondence address or in the adjoining States/Union Territories. In case no examination centre can be allotted within the state of correspondence address or in a nearby State, the applicant will be allotted an examination centre in any part of the country, subject to availability.”
