NEET UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the final result of NEET UG 2024, the entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical courses, on July 26, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check it at exam.nta.ac.in/NEET using application number and date of birth. The direct link and other details are given below. The need for a revised or final result of NEET UG was felt by the Supreme Court of India. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court directed the NTA to follow IIT Delhi’s recommendation on the controversial Physics question and recalculate the results.
NEET UG 2024 Revised Result: Direct link to check
The Supreme Court rejected the petition to conduct the NEET UG re-examination and cancel the result. On the issue of Physics question, the Supreme Court said that there was only one correct answer to this question – option 4. Let’s take a look at this question-
Statement I: Atoms are electrically neutral because they have equal number of positive and negative charges.
Statement II: Atoms of each element are stable and emit their own characteristic spectrum.
Based on the above statements, choose the most appropriate answer from the options given below:
(1) Statement I is false but Statement II is correct.
(2) Both Statement I and Statement II are correct.
(3) Both Statement I and Statement II are wrong.
(4) Statement I is correct but Statement II is wrong.
NTA considered both options 2 and 4 as correct answers but the apex court, based on the feedback from IIT Delhi, said that only the fourth option was the correct answer.
“In view of the decision of the experts, we have no doubt regarding the correct option… We accept the report of IIT Delhi and accordingly, NTA shall re-match the NEET UG result on the ground that option 4 represents the only correct answer to the question,” the apex court said while pronouncing the order.
The revised final result will change the rank list of over 4 lakh candidates, including 44 NEET UG 2024 toppers who were given grace marks for the question.

Provide your application number and date of birth.
Submit and view your result.
