Kim So-Hyun’s Queen of Tears premieres to strong ratings
Kim So Hyun and Kim Ji Won’s Queen of Tears premiered with a 5.9 percent rating nationwide according to Nielsen Korea. Compared to tvN’s previous release, Captivating the King, which debuted with 4.0 percent in January, the recent numbers are quite impressive. Billed as a “miraculous love story of a married couple overcoming dizzying crisis”, Queen of Tears has taken over the time slot of Captivating The King and is also streaming on Netflix for international fans.
A decline has been seen in the number of doctors slump
Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye’s medical rom-com Doctor Slump has seen a decline in ratings. Many people cited the predictable story and lack of twists as the reason for this. The overnight number dropped to 5.3 percent domestically on Saturday. However, it still maintains a strong hold on Netflix, ruling the top 10 for consecutive weeks.
Cha Eun Woo’s Wonderful World continues to hold on to ratings
Astro’s Cha Eun Woo and Kim Nam Joo’s Wonderful World recorded a nationwide average rating of 6.4 percent for its fourth episode. The numbers are down compared to its previous episodes but it is still in a better position compared to many ongoing dramas.

Flex X Cop breaks into double digits
After seeing a slight decline, Ahn Bo Hyun’s drama increased and reached double digits with the premiere of its recent episode. The K-drama recorded a nationwide average rating of 10.1 percent. Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s Korea-Khitan War, which is nearing its conclusion, ranked highest with 12.0 percent before its series finale.
