The company has already proved its mettle in the field of CNG cars and is the largest seller of CNG cars in the country. Now the company is also preparing its petrol cars according to the new requirements. The company has recently launched the new generation Swift, which has been introduced with better design, features, engine performance and mileage than before.
The most special thing in the new Swift is its new 1.2 liter Z-series engine. It is not a 4 cylinder engine like before, but a 3 cylinder engine in which vibration is also very less. The company claims that it is more fuel efficient than before. Apart from this, the company has also taken full care of the safety of the customers and has given some safety features as standard in all the variants. The mileage of the new Swift is quite excellent in AMT variants, due to which it has become the most fuel efficient car in its price segment.
how much is the price
The price of new generation Maruti Swift starts from Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, the price of its top variant goes up to Rs 9.65 lakh (ex-showroom). The new generation Swift has been launched in five variants – LXi, VXi, VXi(O), ZXi and ZXi+. This car is available in nine different paint options.

Tremendous mileage in AMT
The company says that the new Swift is a unique confluence of innovation, technology and sustainability. The 1.2 liter Z-series mild hybrid engine has been installed in Swift. About which the company claims that it is more fuel efficient than before. This engine generates power of 82hp and torque of 108 Nm. Along with manual gearbox, the engine is also equipped with CVT transmission. It is claimed to get a mileage of 24.8 kmpl in its manual variants while 25.75 kmpl in AMT variants.
Talking about the features, the new Swift is equipped with features like 9-inch touchscreen, 6-speaker Arcamis audio system and automatic AC with rear vent. Other equipment includes wireless phone charging, cruise control, push-button start/stop and connected car technology.
Safety is better than before
In the new Swift, the company has taken full care of the safety of the customers. It gets 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts with seatbelt reminder on all seats, electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold assist, electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and anti-lock braking system (ABS) with brake assist (BA). Such safety features have been provided. The special thing in this is that all the features are available as standard, that is, these features will be available in the top model of Swift as well as in the base model.
