What did Zarina Wahab say?
In an interview with Lehren, Zarina spoke about Jiah’s death, She said, “Even before that, she had tried 4-5 times, but it was destiny that when my son’s turn came, it happened),” she said.
During the interview, he also shared that Sooraj suffered a professional setback due to this case. She said, “We have all gone through bad times, but I believe in one thing: ‘If you spoil someone’s life with a lie, take it as a debt; It will come to you with interest. Karma says so. We waited until he was found not guilty (we all waited). It took 10 years, but he is out of it and I am happy. This has affected Suraj’s career. About Jiah Khan
Jiah Khan, best known for the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Nishabd, was found dead by her mother at her Mumbai home on 3 June 2013. Later, her then boyfriend, actor Sooraj Pancholi, was arrested for abetment of suicide. The case was based on a six-page note detailing her troubled relationship with Sooraj. The central agency had said that the alleged suicide note detailed Jiah’s “intimate relationship, physical abuse and mental and physical torture” at the hands of Sooraj, which led her to commit suicide. Sooraj is the son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab. He was recently acquitted in the case of abetting Jiah Khan’s suicide.
