But till the last episode, Sharmin Segal as Alamzeb was clear about one thing- she did not want to become a courtesan despite her mother’s wishes. Those who have watched the series know that her rebellion ended with Chaudhvin Shab, a song that was kept safe by the makers till now. But now the music video has been released on the internet.
Out of all the songs in the web series, this was the only music video that was not officially released by the makers till date. But now that it is out, internet users cannot stop themselves from grooving to Shreya Ghoshal’s melodious voice, which brings life to the soulful lyrics penned by AM Turaz. The credit for the composition goes to show-runner Sanjay. The song features Sharmin as Alamzeb, wearing an ivory anarkali with heavy jewellery and has tears in her eyes. She looks impeccable, but fans are not impressed. In the comments section below, many shared their disappointment with the actor’s performance and also expressed their wish to see Sonakshi, Aditi or Deepika Padukone on this song.

For instance, one social media user wrote, “I wish Aditi had danced to this beautiful song 😢”, while another comment read: “I wish Deepika had done this.” A third internet user wrote: “Sona ko de dete ye gana dono hit gana inko diya”, while another said, “Everything is empty without Bibbhojaan (Aditi Rao Hydari ma’am)❤️.” Another nasty comment read: “😂😂😂 seedha face zero emotions.. koi isko bhoot ka role de do 😂😂😂😂.”
