During the trailer launch event in Kolkata on Wednesday, Neeraj Pandey was asked by a media person about the rumors of the presence of Sourav in a crime drama. ,

The series directed by Debatama Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray, Neeraj’s 2022 show Khake: The Bihar Chapter follows. Set in Kolkata in the early 2000s, it tells the story of an IPS officer fighting crime, corruption and political power.
Talking about the trailer, it shows the officer’s struggles, which dare to challenge powerful data controlling the system. The show is co-written by Neeraj, Debatama Mandal and Emperor Chakraborty.
The series features an artist contingent of Bengali cinema stars, which includes Proosion Chatterjee, Jit, Parambararata Chattopadhyay and Saswata Chatterjee. The series is also the first Hindi drama for Bengali artists.
Khakee: Bengal chapter will premiere on Netflix on 20 March.
