After his recent exit from Bigg Boss 19, actor Abhishek Bajaj addressed the controversies surrounding his personal life made by his ex-wife. The actor, who is married to Akanksha Jindal, claimed that Abhishek cheated on him, while he also questioned the actor’s equation with co-contestant Ashnoor Kaur inside the house.
Abhishek calls his ex-wife a ‘social parasite’
Speaking to HT City, Abhishek described the allegations against him as “completely baseless” and an “attempt to take advantage of fame”. He tells us, “These claims are baseless and are being made from the past. I was young when I got married, honestly I was scared, but whatever happened was due to mutual understanding. I never wanted anyone to take advantage of my fame for personal gains.”
He adds, “I have learned in life to stay away from people who are social parasites and fame diggers.” I have struggled to get to where I am today and people want to take advantage of my hard work. I have worked hard to reach where I am today.”
We further asked Abhishek if he is planning to take legal action against his ex-wife, to which the actor said, “People are with me. I like to focus more on my success. And success is the purest form of revenge. People have seen who I really am, and they are with me.” The actor does not want to take legal action against the defamatory claims made by his ex-wife but wants to focus on work ahead.
Abhishek on his relationship with Ashnoor
The actor also opened up on the speculations about his growing closeness with co-contestant Ashnoor Kaur, which has sparked conversations both inside and outside the house. Abhishek emphasizes that what the audience saw was a genuine connection and not some strategy to stay in the game. Abhishek clarified, “It was never for play. I never planned or strategized any relationship inside the house.” He further added, “Ashnoor and I shared the same moral values and the same thought process. Our relationship was organic and honest and it grew stronger with time. But it was always based on understanding and respect.”
Abhishek says that despite the noise outside, he wants to focus on his journey and what he has done inside the show. He further adds, “Ashnoor and I are good friends and nothing more. People can think whatever they want, we know the truth. I entered the house with integrity and came out with the same. I was genuine, I was respectful and I maintained my principles. That’s what matters to me.”
