New Delhi: The Salman Khan starrer film ‘Sikander’ of director AR Murugados is going to knock in theaters soon. Prior to the release of this film, Murugados explained how he works for his films. Giving the example of his 2008 film ‘Ghajini’, he explained why he did not tell Kalpana (Asin) to Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan) in the film.
He said, “When I was writing the script of ‘Ghajini’, I thought what would have happened if Kalpana would have known Sanjay’s real identity? How would she react?” He further said, “I realized that doing so would reduce the influence of the film. Kalpana’s innocence and not having a real identity of Sanjay, the feelings of the audience are even faster.”
He further said, “Sanjay had a lot to tell Kalpana, but he could not do so because Kalpana died and he also lost his memory.”
Murugados further said, “If Kalpana came to know the truth, we would not have been talking about it today. Even after 16 years people talk about it. As a writer and director, I think it’s a good job.” AR Murugados has worked with many big stars like Ajit Kumar, Chiranjeevi, Surya, Aamir Khan, Vijay, Akshay Kumar. Now he is making ‘Alexander’ with Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandana.
He said, “While working with the superstar, we have to keep their fans and business in mind. We cannot disappoint the fans and show them something new.” Regarding the action scenes, he said, “The reason behind the action should be. If the hero is fighting for his mother, the action will be different.” He further said that it is also very important for the action sequence to be in the right place.
He said, “I am a writer and director. I meet the actor and tell the story. I know how my character will speak, how will I sit because I am living with him.” Built by Sajid Nadiadwala, ‘Alexander’ will be released in theaters on March 28.
