KBS2’s Beauty and Mr. Romantic has won hearts and achieved its best ratings ever, topping this week’s viewership ratings. tvN’s Love Next Door has also achieved its personal highest ratings, putting the show in a good position.
What are this week’s viewership ratings for Beauty and Mr Romantic and Love Next Door?
On August 25, Nielsen Korea reported that Beauty and Mr. Romantic’s viewership increased by 20 percent for the first time. The show’s performance also saw a huge jump after the latest episode, which scored an average of 20.5 percent ratings nationwide. The series has successfully maintained its position as the most-watched series in the fourth week of August.
Beauty and Mr. Romantic also achieved its personal highest rating among viewers aged 20 to 49, with an average rating of 3.7 percent.
Meanwhile, Love Next Door, which is available to watch on Netflix, recently released episode 4. It scored its highest viewership rating over the weekend, garnering a nationwide average of 6.6 percent. This is significantly higher than last week’s score, which was 6.0 percent.

Which other shows saw viewership ratings rise and fall?
Channel A’s ‘Cinderella 2 AM’ also saw a rise in ratings after the airing of its second episode this week. The show gained an average of 0.8 percent nationwide. After the release of its fourth episode, TV Chosun’s ‘DNA Lover’ also scored 0.8 percent, which remained consistent throughout the week. Meanwhile, JTBC’s ‘Romance in the House’ managed to climb the ratings chart with around 5.2 percent after the airing of its sixth episode on TV.
South Korea’s favorite show Good Partner has maintained its viewership numbers since last week’s ratings, averaging 17.7 percent. This week, however, it has seen a slight drop in results, garnering 17.2 percent viewers nationwide.

ENA’s Your Honor, which had a 2.8 percent rating last week, also saw a slight increase, garnering a 3.7 percent rating for its new episode this week. MBC’s Black Out led the way with a 4.4 percent viewership. Finally, Bad Memory Eraser, which had a 0.7 percent rating last week, fell to an average of 0.4 percent this week.
