A war of words has erupted over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comment in which he asked the opposition Congress and Samajwadi Party to take ‘tuition’ from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on ‘where to drive the bulldozer’. The Congress party has hit back at the PM’s remarks and demanded action.

Modi addressed rally in UP
– On May 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a Lok Sabha election campaign rally in Barabanki, in which he raised the Ram Temple issue to attack the SP and Congress.
Modi attacked Congress, SP
During the rally, Modi said that Congress is preparing to overturn the Supreme Court’s decision on Ram Temple.
– PM Modi also alleged that if SP-Congress comes to power, they will send Ram Lalla back to the tent and bulldoze the temple, and also asked both the parties to take ‘tuition’ from Yogi Adityanath on where Bulldozer should be operated.

Congress’s counterattack
Expressing strong objection to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge retorted and said that only BJP runs the bulldozer.
Kharge said, “It is the BJP which runs bulldozers. We have never used bulldozers on anyone till date.”

Mallikarjun Kharge demands action from Election Commission
The Congress President has demanded the Election Commission to take action against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“The Election Commission should take action against Modi ji and BJP for saying such things about the temple of God under construction by the Trust. By saying such things, they are creating anger among the public. They are provoking the public.” They are provoking them,” Kharge said.
Chidambaram slams BJP
Taking a dig at the BJP, senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram said, “Bulldozer justice may be the signature tune of the UP Chief Minister, but it is a curse for the Congress and the Indian camp.”

“Why do Congress leaders want to bulldoze the Ram temple? Why do they call Lord Ram imaginary? Why do they call Ram Setu imaginary? Why do they insult Hinduism?
