Volkswagen Tiguan will be replaced with the upcoming Tiguan R-Line.
Volkswagen India has officially removed the Tiguan SUV from its website before the launch of Tiguan R-line. Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, which comes as a sports version of the premium SUV, has been slaans to launch in India on 14 April. Volkswagen Tiguan, which has been removed from the official website of the German Auto Major, was available in a single trim elegance and was priced. 38.16 Lakh (East-Shoreroom).
Tiguan was a major model from OEMs in the Indian market. It was powered by a 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine, which was done for a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The engine churns 187 bhp peak power and 320 Nm maximum torque.
Volkswagen Tiguan Pavs Way for Tiguan R-Line
Volkswagen Tiguan R-line will be sold in India with Woakeswagen Golf GTI, another sporty model from the brand. The car manufacturer has already started accepting booking for Tiguan R-line through its official website and dealership. It will be sold as a fully built unit (CBU) in the country.
On launch, Volkswagen Tiguan will compete with luxury cars such as R-line Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW X1 and Audi Q3.

The upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan R-line receives six different color options. These color options are – Persimon Red Metallic, Knightshed Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Orix White (with mother of pearl effect), Cipperceino Green Metallic and oyster silver metal.
On the design front, Volkswagen Tiguan will come with a lightbar, and full HD matrix LED headlights attached to 20 -inch alloy wheels. It will be based on the MQB-Evo platform. Diply, it measures 30 mm long and four mm longer, maintaining a consistent wheelbase of 2,680 mm. Inside the cabin, there will be a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.1-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system based on the latest MIB4 UI.
Power to Volkswagen Tiguan R-line is a 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine, which will be able to churn the 201 BHP peak power and 320 Nm peak torque. For transmission duty, it gets a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox, while there is also a six-speed manual unit.
