A video showing the villagers carrying Katihar MP Tariq Anwar on its shoulders while inspecting flood affected areas in Bihar has gone viral on social media. Congress leaders were on a two-day visit in their constituency and visited the Shivnagar-Sonakhal region of Dhurihi Panchayat, covering Bari and Manihari assembly constituencies on Sunday.

Anwar ‘of’ comments on section on x
In a post on X, a Congress leader wrote, “Today, I inspected the flood affected areas of Manihari and Bari. People are facing serious difficulties due to floods and river erosion. I stand with the affected families in this difficult time and appeal to the government for quick relief and concrete solutions.”

A user said, “Wow … the height of shameless but what we can expect from the Congress … they do not want to put a dirt on their shoes and therefore people have to take such a selfish MP to show their crisis in the crisis in advance.”

BJP says ‘VVVIP is fashion’

In a social media post on X, Poonwal wrote, “The spirit of Congress entitled. Even in flood affected areas, do they want VVIP protocols? Kharge GI insulted the farmers. Congress makes fun of MP Tariq Anwar. In the work mode.”

Meanwhile, Bihar elections are scheduled to be held in October or November later this year. However, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has not yet announced the official date.
