150 posts of Nature Guide are to be filled in Terai Western region of Corbett Forest Division in Ramnagar, while 36 posts are vacant in Ramnagar Forest Division.
Recruitment of Nature Guide is going on in Ramnagar.
Jim Corbett National Park in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand has invited job applications for 186 vacant Nature Guide posts.
150 posts of Nature Guide are to be filled in the Terai Western region of Corbett Forest Division in Ramnagar, for which 3,000 candidates have applied. At the same time, 600 candidates have applied for 36 Nature Guide posts in Ramnagar Forest Division.
Even though the eligibility criteria for these jobs is 10th class, candidates with higher educational qualifications like B.Ed, B.Sc and BA have also submitted applications. The number of applications for this recruitment has exceeded 3,600.
Nature guides are recruited in different areas of Corbett National Park to take tourists around the forest in jeeps. To get a job in Ramnagar Forest Division one has to qualify a written examination, whereas in Terai Western Forest Division candidates will be selected on the basis of high school marks, guide’s certificate or oral interview.
Earlier, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) had provided an excellent job opportunity for the eligible youth. The Council conducted recruitment for the posts of Professor, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor.
