Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to declare the result of Civil Services Examination (CSE) Main Examination 2024 soon. All the candidates who have appeared for the exam can check the result on the official website of the Commission, upsc.gov.in. However, the official announcement of the result date is still awaited.
The exam was held on September 20, 21, 22, 28 and 29, 2024. A total of 14,627 candidates who appeared in the UPSC Mains 2024 exam are now waiting for the result to be released. Those who qualify the exam will further have to appear for the interview round. This year, 13.4 lakh candidates appeared in the UPSC Prelims examination held on June 16, 2024. Through this, recruitment will be done on 1056 posts for various services including IAS, IFS and IPS.

UPSC Civil Services Main Exam Result 2024: How to check?
Step 1: Visit the official website of Union Public Service Commission, upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Look for the tab called ‘Result’ and click on it.
Step 3: After clicking on the result, a new page will open with multiple tabs. Look for another tab mentioning ‘Civil Services 2024 Exam Main Result’ or something similar and click on it.
Step 4: The result will likely be a PDF document.
Step 5: Follow the instructions carefully and fill all the required details and view your result in PDF.
Step 6: Download your result and take a print out of it on white A4 size sheet paper for future reference.
UPSC CSE results will decide which candidate will join the prestigious ranks of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and other central government services.
