Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the UPSC Prelims Results 2025, which is now available to candidates on its websites- upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. The Aspirant Results appearing for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 can download the PDF, which lists the roll number of the candidates who have qualified for the UPSC Mains exam.
The preliminary examination was held on May 25, 2025, with around 10 lakh candidates, who were competing for 979 vacancies in prestigious services such as IAS, IP and IFS.
This year, UPSC Prelims consisted of two papers: General Studies Paper I and Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT), later qualifying in nature. Only candidates who clean the cutoff in paper, I will go ahead for the main examination, starting on August 22, 2025.
While individual scores are not released at this stage, the final mark sheet will be published after the entire selection process ends. Candidates are advised to download the official PDF from the UPSC website and verify their qualification status immediately.
