The photographer wrote in the caption, “Shah Rukh Khan photographed on location at Mehboob Studio.” The photos include a long shot of Shah Rukh in uniform, followed by a close-up of his face, as well as a photo in an army cap.
Colston Julian is an experienced Indian photographer who has photographed celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Dame Judi Dench, John Travolta, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Shane Warne, Buddy Guy and Anushka Shankar. She first shot SRK as part of the Forbes India Celebrity 100 cover in 2013 and later for a Lux advertisement in 2017.
In the pictures, Shahrukh’s uniform includes the name tag Abhimanyu Rai, which was the name of his character in his first TV show Fauji. This could mean that it was a concept shoot. Although the photographer did not reveal when the pictures were taken, the looks on Shahrukh’s face indicate that the shoot is old, perhaps before the pandemic.
