Unique Railway Station: Even in such a large network of Indian Railways, there is a station which has no name. Passengers board and deboard the train, but till date no name has been written on the station board. It is part of one of the most unique railway lines of the country.
Anoka Railway Station
There is a railway station in India where there is a strange thing. Tickets are available there and the train also comes and stops. But there is no name for that station.

This unique railway station is built between Raina and Rainanagar villages in Bardhaman district of West Bengal.

When this station started in 2008, it was named ‘Renagar’. But the people of Raina village said that the station is built on the land of their village, hence its name should be ‘Raina’ and they fought for this.

There was a big dispute regarding naming between these two villages Renagar and Rena. This matter reached the court. Due to disputes and legal troubles between the two villages, the Indian Railways temporarily removed the name ‘Renagar’ from the name plates of that station.

From that day till today no name plate has been installed there. Despite not having a name plate, when passengers buy tickets, they get tickets with the name ‘Raynagar’.
