UKSSSC cancels graduate level recruitment exam due to alleged paper leak, re-examination to be held in three months

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) on Saturday canceled the graduate level recruitment exam, the question paper of which was allegedly leaked, officials said.

He said that the exam will be conducted again within three months and the date will be announced soon.

UKSSC Chairman GS Martolia said, “The graduate level examination held on September 21 for recruitment in various government departments in the state has been cancelled.”

During the examination, three pages of question paper were allegedly leaked from a center in Haridwar, causing panic in the entire state.

More than one lakh candidates appeared in the examination for 416 posts.

Candidates under the banner of Uttarakhand Berojgari Sangh launched a major agitation against the alleged paper leak, after which the state government recommended a CBI inquiry into the matter.
