Toyota Price Cut: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced to reduce the prices of several cars including Fortuner, Innova Crysta, Vellfire after GST cut. The new rate will be effective from September 22.
Due to low GST, there will be new life in the auto sector.Those who buy Fortuner will get the biggest relief. The price of this SUV will now be reduced by maximum ₹ 3.49 lakh. The Innova Crysta will reduce ₹ 1.80 lakh and the Innova Hi Cross will reduce by ₹ 1.15 lakh. The luxury MPV walfire will be cheaper by ₹ 2.78 lakh, while the price of Hils pickup will be reduced to ₹ 2.52 lakh. Similarly, the prices of other models will also see a decline. ₹ 1.01 lakh on Camry, ₹ 3.34 lakh on Leasender, ₹ 65,400 on Urban Cruiser Hyurner and ₹ 85,300 on Glaz.
GST has decreased on vehicles
The government has made a big change in the GST structure. Under the new arrangement, small vehicles – ie petrol engines up to 1200 cc and diesel engine up to 1500 cc which are up to 4000 mm in length, will now be charged 18% GST. Whereas big cars – ie 40% GST will be imposed on more than 1200 cc petrol and more than 1500 cc diesel engines and 4000 mm long trains.
