New Delhi. Toyota has issued a recall of 269 units of its luxury SUV Land Cruiser 300. This recall is for models manufactured between February 12, 2021 and February 1, 2023. The company has recalled these vehicles to reprogram the ECU software of their automatic transmission. Fortunately, no major threat related to the affected area has been reported.
Toyota has informed about updating the software of the affected vehicles for free. Meanwhile, the brand has also clarified that customers can continue using their SUVs until the software is updated. Toyota dealer representatives will contact customers individually to fix the problem. Customers who have queries related to the recall can contact the nearest dealer or the brand’s customer service.
Currently, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 is priced at Rs 2.10 crore (ex-showroom). The company is selling it only in single variant. Land Cruiser 300 has a 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine which generates power of 305bhp and torque of 700Nm. This SUV comes with 10-speed automatic transmission.
