The Delhi government’s school will teach RSS, freedom fighters and civil duties under classes 1 to 12 under the new Rashtraneti program.

Students of Delhi to learn the RSS and freedom fighters under the RSTRANEETI program.
Students of Delhi government schools will soon learn about the Rashtriya Vidyam Sevak Sangh (RSS) under a new educational program called ‘Rashtrapaniti’, including a lesson on freedom fighters like Veer Savarkar, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, and Sardar Vallabhai Patel.
Sood said, “Chapter on RSS is being linked to increase citizen and social consciousness among students and to bring into consideration fundamental duties.” Under the Rashtraneti program, the chapter is designed to promote civil awareness, moral rule and national pride among students from class 1 to class 12.
As part of the course, students will be taught about the origin and history of RSS, its ideology and its role in helping and contributing to freedom struggle. Lessons also aim to address misconceptions about the organization, a source told PTI.
According to him, the contribution exposed to the lesson will include RSS participation in India’s freedom struggle, as well as its social functions, such as blood donation drives, food supply, prevention efforts during disasters such as Kedarnath and Bihar floods, and relief activities during Kovid -19 Pandemic.
Chapter on the history of RSS
This chapter will also find out the history of RSS, which was founded in 1925 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Keshav was performed by Baliram Hazwar. This will highlight the attention of the organization on cultural awareness, discipline, service and social responsibility, and will mention leaders like former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi who have been associated with it.
A separate section will be dedicated to the unuser heroes, where students will learn about data like Veer Savarkar, Subhash Chandra Bose and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.

Teachers handbooks have already been prepared, and training sessions are going on in SCERT. More information on the syllabus is still being discussed, in which class groups will study new chapters. The source said, “This course is being introduced in all classes to give students a practical performance for governance, democracy and active citizenship,” said the source.
The Rashtrapati program was officially launched by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on September 18 as one of the three new syllabus introduced under ‘Naamo Vidyatsava’ in the Rashtrapam.
