Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has issued official notification for TNPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2025. Total 645 vacancies have been announced under Group 2 and Group 2A services. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website – www.tnpsc.gov.in – Starting from July 15. The last date for submission of application is 13 August 2025.
This year, TNPSC has revised the exam pattern and course. The main changes include the introduction of general English in the preliminary examination and an updated format for the main examination. Candidates are advised to download and read the detailed information available on the TNPSC website.

What is TNPSC Group 2 Exam?
Joint Civil Services Examination-II (CCSE-II) run by TNPSC, which is usually known as Group 2 exam. It is organized for the recruitment of candidates for various civil service posts in Tamil Nadu.
Group 2 (Interview Post): Selection is based on preliminary examination, main and interview.
Group 2A (Non-Interview Post): Candidates are completely selected on the basis of their written examination performance.
