The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling process 2024 is progressing slowly and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Tamil Nadu has now released the 10-digit TNEA random number 2024 today, June 12. Candidates can access and download the random number list from the official website attneaonline.org.
Candidates need to log in with their registration number and date of birth to view the TNEA random number list 2024. Also, random numbers are given in the TNEA rank card 2024 to help resolve the tie.
A notice on the website reads, “TNEA 2024 registration is closed. Random numbers have been generated and are available for viewing for students who have paid. Please click on the status tab to view your random number.” As per the TNEA counselling schedule, the TNEA rank card for 2024 will be released on July 10.
The certificate verification process will begin after the release of the TNEA 2024 random number list. This process will take place online from June 13 to June 30, 2024 as per the counselling timetable. Candidates must ensure that all their documents are ready and submitted on time to minimise delays in the verification process.
TNEA Random Number List 2024: Check Tie-Breaking Criteria
– Candidates getting higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher ranking.
– If a tie persists, the better physics score will be used to determine rank.
– If the tie persists, higher marks in the fourth optional subject will be used for ranking.
– If the tie still persists, the older applicant will be given the higher rank.
TNEA 2024 counselling is conducted at various participating institutes across the state for Tamil Nadu engineering admissions. Candidates are shortlisted for TNEA 2024 counselling based on their TNEA rank in 2024.
The TNEA counselling process involves several stages – online registration, random number assignment, certificate verification, rank list publication and final counselling. The counselling round will include processes such as choice filling, confirmation of allotment, allotment, reporting to the college/TFC and payment of fees based on confirmation.
