Himanshu Joshi/Pithoragarh: There are many ancient and wonder-filled religious places in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, which are still away from the eyes of the outside states and the world. Manaskhand is the very ancient name of Kumaon.
In ancient Indian texts, the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand is called Manaskhand, which is full of mysteries and cultural heritage. The inaugural journey of Manaskhand Express is starting from Pune on 22nd April, which will reach Tanakpur railway station in Uttarakhand on 24th April. Passengers can board the train from various stations including Lonavala, Panvel, Kalyan, Nashik. After this, the journey to Kumaon region of Uttarakhand begins, which will be completed in 10 nights and 11 days.

There is immense potential for religious tourism
Talking about Kumaon region, there is immense potential for religious tourism along with natural beauty. Due to lack of publicity till now, there are many such amazing places about which very few people know.
